Conclusion Questions
1. What book did you decide to redesign the cover for? Why did you choose this book? 

A1.I choose to redesign the cover for the book 20,000 leagues under the sea. I choose to do this book because it is one of my favorite books of all time

2. What parts of the plot did you use as inspiration for your book cover design? 

A2.I choose the plot of the attack on the nautilus because it is basically the most intense part of the book

3. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create this project in photoshop. Use complete sentences.​ Try to recall as many of the different tools, processes, and keyboard commands as possible. 

A3. The steps that took to create this book were long, I first I had to look for every image required and a few backups if the originals didn't look good, I used layer masks to get rid of the background on the sea grass, the stone slab, and the giant squid, I used bled moods for the hammerhead shark and the nautilus. I added the image of the author and then added a small summary about him. I resized the cover so it comes out the right size and finished it off by adding it to the 3-d cover.

4. What was the easiest and what was a most challenging part of creating your cover?

A4. The easiest part about this was getting the idea for the background and creating it. The most challenging about this was getting the right image for the squid and getting rid of its background

5. Based on the learning target, "Students will redesign a cover for a famous book that appeals to a modern literacy audience by developing, proposing, and refining artistic ideas, plans, prototypes, and production processes for media arts productions.  " what level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding). Why do you think so? Make sure to provide specific evidence.

A5. The thing that was met in this project was using layer masking I think this because I knew how to use it more than in the last project, the thing that needs work is using more blend modes on the images, I think this because the only two things that got a blend mode were the hammerhead and the nautilus.
